Jillie Willcock

Jillie is a widely respected Musical Director and singing tutor with 16 years’ worth of experience. Since 2003 she has held the position of Musical Director of Stagewise School For The Performing Arts and in that time has organised and written the vocal arrangements for many productions including The Witches of Eastwick, Grease, Joseph and his Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cats, Spring Awakening, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown and Bugsy Malone. Jillie is a highly popular tutor of music, focussing on peripatetic singing tuition for children and is a current faculty member of renowned educational institutions Dumpton School and Knighton House School, and has a proven record of accomplishment of students achieving high levels of success within ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall syllabuses. 

As a performer, Jillie’s musical passion has always been jazz and has been in demand as a singer, touring throughout the UK for 18 years as the lead vocalist of a variety of bands including The Burning Jaspers and The Jazzaholics. In 2001, Jillie established her own jazz ensemble, Jillie and the Lovecats who still regularly perform throughout Dorset. As a musical theatre performer, she has undertaken leading roles in productions of Guys and Dolls, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof and Oliver.

Disney’s Peter Pan JR marks Jillie’s second production with Gingerboy Productions following their success of Scrooge at the Shelley in 2017, of which she was the Musical Director.
